hi, i have revised some minor details of the map. i think its more clear now. when i envision the interface as a part of the "Heart Monitor" Program, i would like the yellow dots to blink while the user actives the route.
This is a very elegant idea! I really like what you've done integrating the checklist into the map. I think a simple paper version is a great idea; perhaps the "software" solution could be some form of web site that allows users to print out custom maps of this type. Then, one could go on line, input the route, and get a "checklist map" printout of it. Nice work!
I like this and think that the concept would be even more useful with a few more signposts for the user, like additional crossroads, and perhaps notable landmarks, buildings etc. to act as additional memory prompts along the route. The checkbox idea is good too; it adds to the user's confidence as they are completing their journey (but they would have to remember a pen!).
