i was just checking, like a good paranoid
freak, to make sure the images were still
working, when i noticed i’d left the invisibles
on and that they’d been captured by the
screenshots. so i dutifully redid them and then
it dawned on me that if i changed the tiffs
into jpegs and shrank them that i would
very likely be able to upload them as
picture files. et voilá.

Sue, your work is so sensitive and thoughtful here. You reflect on the relevance of poetry to the remembering and amnesia honestly, and while you express some uncertainty as to how poetry might make events more memorable, you don't abandon the idea. You navigate between your individual approach (Public Displays of Affection) and the research objective (amnesia, PDA) with intelligence and generosity.
I think the visuals look great for this, though I'm not sold on the laminate idea. Couldn't a reusable plastic sleeve be used, or a book cover, or even just paper?
I've appreciated you so much in the class. I wish you a well-deserved rest and recharge, and all the best in this semester.
